Nose: light oak, grain/bread, sweet rye, creme brulee or a creMed sugar note, caramel, and toffee. Palate: Rye spice, black pepper, vanilla. Overall: Enjoyed the nose much more than the palate and finish. The rye dominates the taste in my opinion. Drinks higher than 107 it feels like. I do really enjoy this whiskey, but would not call this a $100 bottle.
