After being delighted with Benromach 15, I wanted to try their younger version and I can say it’s also pretty good! Good bank for the buck! You won’t be disappointed. It’s very smooth and you can feel the age statement. It’s not going to be a light one. It’s adquately oily and pleasant!
On the nose, aromas of beef broth, tobacco and cigar box. Maybe a bit of leather too. On the palate it’s the feeling of a applewwod smoked bacon. It’s sweet and savory at the same time. The smoke is gentle, it doesn’t feel overpowering, so you can have the tobacco, leather, bacon exoerience without the overpowering of smoke. It’s not the 15, but it brings a similar exoerience! Very good! Slainte!
