Very smooth sipper. Layered flavors that are tough to identify. Long, pleasant, smooth finish. The finish is the best part about this whiskey. I don’t know if it’s the blending or the finishing in various casks but I think it smooths out the typical higher proof bourbon profile. I definitely agree with other reviews out there, that it drinks below it’s proof. This is one of those whiskeys to pour with friends and talk the night away. On the value side, I think it’s a bit overpriced but its definitely a worthy sip. It looks like a very good value when compared to the secondary prices of the BTAC collection which is what it should be compared to because of the uniqueness of the overall experience of drinking it.
