Where’s the peat? Don’t get me wrong, its not bad, it’s just kind of a generic, mild, smooth bourbon. As someone who likes peated whiskies, this one isn’t it. The nose is sweet with syrup notes and the taste is smooth and vanilla/wood forward. The finish is moderate and a little spicy but bot overpowering at all. Not a bad drink, but not amazing.
