A surprising, fantastic, and way overdue release from Ardbeg! Nose: must, sandalwood, saw dust, mango Palate: so smooth for 61%! Not a typical Ardbeg bacon, but sweet burning wood chips, Mangos, a Springbanky surprise if flavor Finish: Shorter than expected for the high abv but I also don’t seem to care because of how tasty it was. Dangerously smooth for a CS Ardbeg! It’s hard not to compare this to a CS Springbank, and although different, the mango, and burnt notes wrapped together so perfectly are hard to ignore. Far to easy enjoy for 61% but with complexity and power to keep you going back again and again. Great scotch! Even better friends!
