For me it's pretty equal parts smoky, sweet, and salty. It's enjoyable enough but I think the flavors compete too much with each other. A couple of drops of water dull the sweetness slightly which actually makes the dram better for me. All in all if this was a 50-60 dollar whisky I'd be happy but at 90? Won't be pursuing this bottle again.
