Water is your best friend here - this is a whisky that comes to life with a few drops of water. The nose is obviously peated, and lacks further complexity after that. In juxtaposition the palate is actually light, and spicy. The overall effect is a drink that lacks finesse yet holds onto its own. Not bad.

I wouldn't add more than a few drops of water as it drowns quite easily... I added maybe 1/3 of a teaspoon and it helped to release more of the aroma.
