This whisky has a meatiness to it. salt and bog smoke, with a damp bandaid aroma. Many would suggest that isn't something you want in your whisky and i respectfully disagree. This is a clinically superb whisky. The peat is HUGE (he said in an imitation of Donald Trump) and the spiciness and capsacian undetones shine through. this is Big and brutal and the smoky salt notes don't go away.
