Light scent of dried fruit and chocolate milk on the nose, followed by an overwhelming hit of lumberwood on the palate. There are faint notes of papaya fruit halfway through, but otherwise an oak-heavy, and considerably bitter finish. Pretty bad.

@ Erogers : I found the 12-year expression to be the best in terms of tast and value. It's not the most robust dram, but quite enjoyable.
Yup
I much preferred the 14-year variety. Two extra years of exposure to the barrel and dilution to 40 ABV did this whisky no favors.
