Strange yet harmless combination of dill, vanilla, and dark caramel on the nose. Rich and warm mouthful, with sweet berries and holiday peppermint bark on the palate. Relatively long finish with delicate charred oak aftertaste. Really tasty. Original, organic, robust (47% ABV), well balanced, and worth trying, even for a non-Bourbon drinker like me.

@ Cask Strength Joe : Yeah... apparently it's kosher as well. Marketing. You should try a sample downtown.
Organic... Stupid
@ Mashtun Mike : LOL. Yes, the dill is the first thing I got from the nose (most likely rye or bird-food in the mash). It's weird, but not as damaging to the experience as the more pronounced "sour dill pickle" nose from the High West Rendezvous Rye (which I gave a lone star). Once you get passed the dill, this whiskey is nothing short of elegance and brilliance.
Dill and vanilla? Sounds "special". 😀
