Very light overall in nose and palate. Gave it a few moments and it opened up a little. Get a lot of vegetal notes on the nose, burnt sugar, brown sugar, vanilla. On the palate I get light brown sugar, caramel, more intense vanilla, some dried fruit (maybe fig?). Finish is medium with a slight bitterness. Overall a good sipping rum, but not overly complex. Something I could easily drink neat or with 1 ice cube during the summer.
