This bourbon replaced Jim Beam (white label) as my BBQ sauce bourbon. It is also not a bad "highball" Bourbon as it is simple. For the price point, you cannot complain.

I agree when you say BBQ sauce bourbon. I make several bourbon based sauces and a couple whiskey glazes. I switched to using Early Times since it's not really bourbon and not smoky. I have found when true bourbon is reduced, especially EW, the smoky notes get harsh and negatively affect my sauces. Cheers
