I did not like this bourbon when I first tried it "many" years ago. However, I rediscovered it recently. I now appreciate this as I now get a bourbon's complexities (i.e. going from college slam dancing whiskey to actually tasting and enjoying it). I had a similar experience with scotch in college when we did shots of King George IV with Rolling Rock Pony Bottle chasers. I did not drink scotch again for 25 years after that dumpster fire of a train wreak!
This will be the first "back-up" bourbon into my "Zombie Apocalypse" Closet if one of the other bottles in it break or gets finished off early. ;-)
