Batch 61. Needed a bit of water for this one. Really opened up at 50%-55%.
Nose: Spicy oak, cinnamon, nutmeg. Deep sherry notes. Plums, rasins, cherries. Orange marmalade. A bit of cocoa at the end and a sweet nutty aroma that reminds me of Dalmore.
Palate: Thick and chewy. More orange on the palate along with raisins and dark chocolate covered cherries. Still finding that note that reminds me of Dalmore. Like the filling in Baklava. Lots of oak spice.
Finish: Medium finish. Surprisingly dry. Orange trails off to bittersweet chocolate and leaves with dry oak.
