Had a bottle of it years ago. That time it was the very beginning of my journey to single malts and probably the first peated whisky. So no clear memories from that time except that I enjoyed it.
Not long ago I had a chance to drink it in airport lounge. Now I have some things to compare. Three things cone to mind: brine, brine and brine.
No doubt it is a great whisky. But I am rather an Ardbeg men in the peated malts: the Corrywrekan and the Ugeadail are beyond compare to this one.
