Single Malt — Taiwan

Nice bourbon nose, very spicy cask strength- not exactly a complex whiskey - but good stuff for bourbon lovers who also like scotch. To make this a 5 star sipper; a few more years in the barrel and some sherry influence would knock this one out of the park.

@Evilbiochemist interesting...& prolly spot-on analogy. Seems appropriate based on everything I’ve read about whiskey maturation in tropical weather
Interesting. So Taiwan is kinda like the “Microwave” of whisky preparation. ...
In Taiwan warm climate causes whisky to mature quickly and it is difficult to age 10 years there due to faster evaporation from barrel while aging than in scotland, known as angel's share. 8 years in Taiwan is like 40 years in Scotland.
