Very light and harsh like most Japanese whiskeys are, but I don't hate this one. Very light, maybe a fruit flavor, and light wood. Lots of burn, but it's a barrel burn not alcohol. It's still too harsh for me. Bottle was low, perhaps that's why. It's much better than most others I've tried still.
