Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Bright lemon, cut fruit, with some vanilla and sugar on the nose. The palate is also fresh. More lemon, sweetness, cereal sugar, crisp apple and some fresh oak. It does burn a bit with youth and the finish leaves lingering cinnamon and little bitter notes. While it is not a gentle as many similar 12-year-olds, it also has some great flavour notes. I like it. A lot and at the price, it is a steal.
