Carmel and vanilla is pronounced, maybe some orange peel, hint of banana and cacao. It’s a decent bourbon, too hype driven though. Honestly I’ve had buffalo Trace store Barrel picks I enjoy more than this. And I’ve tried a few different barrels of blantons. 2.75 for being okay at $65. $40-45 would be just right and would give it around a 3.5-4. Sadly though, that’s what liquor stores buy it for from distributors in Texas :( there are better regular shelf bourbons. From a fellow bourbon enthusiast, WSET Level 2 wine certified.
