The Nose: first dark cherry, then cherry cough syrup think robitusson, mile peat smoke which comes across as overly roasted nuts
The Pallete: Dark fruits as in cherry and plum, overly smoked/ roasted nuts,
The Finish: short somewhat dry, fruity medicinal note, with a gingery bit of saltiness
Overall it lacks some complexity and its alittle rough around the edges but it is still very easy sipper. This would be a great gateway scotch into islay.
