A friend of mine bought a bottle of 18yr Macallan and I was lucky enough to get a pour! I think I was just as happy to sit and smell the dram as I was to imbibe. I can’t afford the 18yr but decided to pick up a bottle of the 12. I have had it on occasion when I have been out but it is nice to add to the collection to have when you need a great scotch.
