I think I was expecting more from a 14 year. Not as complex as I’d like. Also not as sweet either and the peat taste is lost behind briny- saltyness. Finish is smooth but not long and it’s a little salty. Had it with a meal the first taste and didn’t like it as much as when I had it as a nightcap. By itself, the flavors are more noticeable and its more enjoyable.
