Nose has notes of raisins, coffee, plum, a banana-like funk. Raisins, pineapple, slight funk, molasses and of course alcohol heat (this IS 138 proof, and while the nose gives no hint of it it’s definitely felt here) on the palate. Dark chocolate and molasses finish. Absolutely delicious neat if you can stand the heat. Just as delicious when mixed into eggnog.
