My first Japanese whiskey, and it was a beaut! A simple blend but mixed sweetness, wood notes, and a mild spice with a hint of smoke. Nose: sweet notes, noticing mixed with a grain whiskey. The wood notes are strong but pleasant. Palate: a sweet and mildly spicy mix of woody flavors and grain sweetness. Finish: smooth, very pleasant and mildly long. A beautiful end to a great night with even better friends!
