Apple and pear notes dominate the palate. After that comes citrus and a really subtle hint of brine. Also some milk chocolate and honey. Maybe it's me, but I do recognise some sherry in it, even though it's only matured in ex-bourbon casks. This Scotch tastes more like an Irish whiskey in my opinion, but a good whisky nonetheless.
