Smells sweet and woody, like a bourbon, but there isn't much ethanol on the nose. The taste is really sweet, which reminds me of cough syrup. There is a nice balance between spices and sweetness. Though I can't shake that cough syrup off of me. Vanilla, wood tannins and spices dominate the palate. I had higher expectations of this whisky.40.0 EUR per Bottle

Glenfiddich Malt Master's Edition Sherry Cask
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 2, 2021The mouthfeel of this whisky is quite watery. On the nose you mostly smell wood, vanilla and some sherry. The taste is really muted, compared to the classic Glenfiddich 12 year. Most of the taste consists of oak, vanilla, honey, a bit of sherry and a hint of orchard fruits we know and love from Glenfiddich. If you want a Glenfiddich, stick with the 12 year bottling. It's far more lively, even being 3% abv lower. This isn't worth the price increase but it's nice and smooth nonetheless.38.0 EUR per Bottle -
