Color: gold, medium running legs
Nose: briny sweet malt, brine is dominant, hints of pineapple and grapefruit and honey.
Taste: medium arrival, oily buttery feel, medium bodied, cinnamon, pepper, slightly bitter but not unpleasant.
Finish: medium length, peppery, sweet.
Conclusion: good winter sipping whisky. Would I buy it again? No, not because it's not good, but because I would like to try something new.
