Bourbon — Kentucky , USA

(neat, rock glass)
Nose: brown sugar, oil, prunes and similar fruits, with slight woodiness.
Taste: heavy charred oak and oil, robust.
Finish: slight banana bread like taste with lingering charred oak and oil. Drinks hot with large sips or pleasant and short with small sips. It almost melts away with very small sips.
Overall: an interesting bourbon with a robust, sharp flavor. Reminds me of diesel fuel or crude oil? In a good way of course, interesting.

Wow! After reading your comment, I took a few smaller sips than usual for me...good call! This time I get some chocolate notes. My favorite bourbon gets even better now. Thanks for sharing.
