That’s just really pleasant. Granted, nothing crazy unique going on but smooth as foie gras.
Surprisingly found this bottle in my office cabinet as I was getting kicked out of it. Asked everyone around but no one had a claim. Lucky me because I’d never tried it.
Nose: Floral, rich, leather, caramel. Kind of reminds of a long-aged chatenuef du pape.
Up front: toffee, caramel, citrus all mixed together very delicately
Mouth feel: silky, oily, viscous. Delightful
Finish: slight burn right off that transitions into buttery satisfaction. Some raisins as well.
Verdict: nothing life-changing but about as good of an unexpected office cabinet discovery as one could hope for. This bourbon is right down the middle for me.
