Creamy sherry bomb with a funky peat finish. It’s got some rough edges, but that is what gives it its character. I get sherry that has sat in the sun too long (a bit syrupy and stale) with raisons, dates, cranberries, and bitter dark chocolate. Then leading to black pepper, a slight funky peat soot note, and a drying finish. This might not sound too appealing, but it all comes together quite nicely with a creamy mouthfeel that leaves you longing for more. But is a bit too sweet for me unfortunately.
