Balcones Lineage Texas Single Malt
American Single Malt — Texas, USA

I was fortunate to get the last bottle of this at Specs. It was priced below $30.
Nose is fruits like baked apples with slight cinnamon. Some lemon or light orange as well. Maybe some less sweet smelling lifesavers too.
It’s definitely Balcones on nose and taste.
There is hot lemon and cinnamon. The orange is there but maybe in peel form.
This one is different than the Single
Malt. Maybe a mix of the Pot Still Bourbon and the Single Malt.

It does not have any bourbon in it. They can’t legally call it a single malt if it has any other grain besides barley. Single malt means 100% malt barley from a single distillery.
Whoa! That’s the cheapest price for a Balcones I’ve seen.
