Soft nose of candied nuts and overripe bananas. Oak influence is obvious on the palate. Vanilla and mild cinnamon with blackened peanuts and hints of black cherry. The finish is fairly quick. There’s a surprisingly small amount of red fruit for a port finished whisky.
