This one needs patience. Pour a dram, add 3ml of still water and wait about 10 minutes. The character changes a lot with water and reduces the bitterness of the finish. With water the nose is nutty, with dried apricots and berries. The palate become toffee and caramel with a Christmas Pudding touch of raisins and dried fruit. The finish is round and woody, with a nice vanilla note too. A really fantastic value for money pour that everyone should have.
