    Following previous limited edition cask strength batches, Blackened has released Volume 1 for nationwide release as well as selected provinces in Canada. The Cask Strength bottling features the same blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys which are married and finished in "sonically-enhanced" brandy barrels. Volume 1 is bottled without chill-filtration at 61.4% ABV (122.85 proof). Availability begins May 2023 with more volumes to follow. (SRP 69.99)

    Scarlet Shade is the first rye in Diageo's Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co. portfolio or forgotten whiskeys. Master Blender Samantha Johnson blended the rye whiskey stocks which had travelled from Indiana where it was distilled to Kentucky where it was aged for 14 years. It was bottled in Tennessee at 90 proof. The tattoo-inspired label features a cardinal, the state bird of both Indiana and Kentucky, and a peony which is the state flower of Indiana as well as a skull to "honor lost loved ones." This limited edition rye whiskey is available beginning May 2023 nationwide. (SRP $199.99)

    Formulated each year by CEO & Founder Tim Piersant, Chattanooga Whiskey Founder's 11th Anniversary Blend is made from a blend of three solera whiskeys — each representing the past, present, and future. The past solera was an Indiana straight bourbon aged for 4+ years; the present solera was a Tennessee straight bourbon made with a Tennessee high malt recipe aged 2+ years; and the future solera was a blend of Tennessee straight whiskeys aged 3+ years from their Experimental & Riverfront Distilleries. Bottled at 100 proof without chill-filtration, it's available in limited quantities beginning May 2023. (SRP $59.99)

    Santa Fe Spirits Colkegan American Single Malt whiskey is typically made with mesquite-smoked malted barley, but this expression is not smoked. In fact, this bottling marks the first time it's been released unsmoked. It was aged for about four years in new American oak and used bourbon barrels. For this limited edition release, there are around 1,500 bottles available for sale via Santa Fe Spirits website and the tasting room beginning May 2023. (SRP $69.99)

    This is the second limited edition release for The Gauldrons, a Campbeltown blended malt brand from independent distiller, blender, and bottler Douglas Laing & Co. It's a marriage of single casks of single malts from the Campbeltown region of Scotland which are then finished in selected Spanish sherry casks. Only 5,580 bottles are available globally with a late April 2023 release date. (SRP £65.00 / €74.00)

    Tequila Komos is a brand under the Spirit of Gallo portfolio. This Añejo Reserva is the fourth product for the brand, each of which is made with 100% blue Weber agave harvested from the Highlands and Lowlands of Jalisco. Packaged in a white ceramic bottle, this añejo tequila is aged for a minimum of 12 months in a combination of French oak wine, American bourbon and sherry barrels. Available for on-and off-premise accounts beginning June 2023. (SRP $169.99)

    La Pulga is a tequila brand founded by three Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas based entrepreneurs. The brand name refers to an open-air flea market established on the Northside of Ft. Worth in the 1940s. The tequila is made with 100% Weber blue agave from the Highlands of Jalisco. The reposado expression is aged up to 7 months in ex-bourbon barrels and is made without any additives. Each label in the portfolio features a different alebrijes, a Mexican folk art image. El Toro is featured on the reposado tequila. Available for on-and off-premise purchase in Texas beginning May 2023. (SRP $54.99)

    Deep Eddy Vodka has launched three ready-to-drink hard tea seltzers — Lemon Tea, Peach Tea, and Sweet Tea. Each can is made with the brand's vodka, tea, and juices and has 4.5% ABV and 180 calories per 12 oz/355ml can. They are also gluten free. Available nationwide beginning April 28, 2023.     This Cherry Blossom Liqueur from Portland, Oregon-based Freeland Spirits is made with hand-harvested cherry blossoms from the Pacific Northwest. Also included are blooms from the Portland Japanese Garden. Bottled at 35% ABV, it's available for purchase via the brand's website beginning May 2023. (SRP $38)
