Purity is made from organic barley and winter wheat. What they make at their distillery in Sweden is the heart of the vodka. There they use a 600-liter copper pot-still which is attached to two column stills, each with eight plates. The mash of winter wheat and barley is distilled through twice creating a spirit which doesn't need filtration. This is blended with an organic column-distilled wheat distillate and two types of water: de-ionized water and mineral-rich water. Bottled at 40% ABV, this vodka is certified organic in the US and the EU.

Reyka's distillery is located in the town of Bogarnes on the west coast of Iceland. Barley grain spirit (barley and some wheat) is brought to them from Scotland where it is redistilled in a single distillation in a copper-lined Carter-Head still. Each batch produces about 255 cases and takes six hours to complete. The vodka is filtered through lava rock and the water used to bring the vodka to proof is arctic spring water. The distillery is powered by geothermal energy from underground volcanoes and as a result, produces zero emissions.

This vodka from St. George Spirits in Alameda, California is made from a base of pears and grain. Bartlett pears, the same the distillery uses in their pear brandy, are distilled to 95.1% ABV. They then blend this with a non-GMO grain base spirit. Bottled at 40% ABV after filtering for impurities.

Spring 44 seeks to harness the purity of their water source in their Colorado born spirits. The spring is located in Buckhorn Canyon at 2,000 feet elevation and surrounded by 160,000 acres of National forest. Made from a blend of wheat, corn and rye.

This vodka from Nikka uses a base of corn and barley malt distillate which were distilled in a Coffey Still as the name suggests. The corn and barley malt were individually distilled and blended, diluted, and filtered with white birch charcoal. Bottled at 40% ABV.

Established in 1938, Stolichnaya or Stoli as it is most often called, was first introduced to the US in 1972. This grain-based (wheat and rye) vodka is manufactured and bottled in Latvia using a rectified spirit tankered in from Russia. It is filtered through Russian birch charcoal and quartz sand. This is bottled and sold at an ABV of 37.5-40% depending on your location.

This ultra premium vodka first hit the market in 2003. Stoli Elit is made using "freeze filtration" inspired by the old tradition of leaving casks outside in plummeting winter conditions. This grain based (winter wheat) vodka is bottled at 40% ABV.
