The Best Herbal Vodkas

Dutch Tulip Vodka PURE is the world's first and only spirit to be fermented and distilled exclusively from Dutch tulip bulbs. On average, about 350 tulip bulbs are needed to produce one bottle of PURE, which is made in small batches by Clusius Craft Distillers in The Netherlands.

Wheatley Vodka is distilled at the Buffalo Trace Distillery under supervision by master distiller, Harlen Wheatley and his team. Primarily a wheat-based vodka, there are other grains that are used in its production. Distilled in a "micro-still", the vodka is triple-filtered and bottled at 82 proof.

Based in California’s Sonoma County, Hanson is an organic vodka based on grape distillate. A fifty-plate still creates a very pure spirit that is then filtered seven times. The habanero infusion is made from organic produce. It is non-GMO and gluten free.

This creative flavored vodka starts with Cascade Alchemy’s super-filtered grain-based vodka. A cocktail of black tea and eastern spices macerate in the finished vodka to suggest the soothing flavors of the coffeehouse favorite chai tea.

Hophead Vodka is distilled in copper pot stills using two varieties of Willamette Valley hops and grain neutral spirit. Note: In 2017, Anchor Brewing Co. was sold with Anchor Distilling Co. not part of the sale. The distilling company was rebranded as Hotaling & Co. in early 2018 and is still located in Potrero Hill in San Francisco.

Spring 44 seeks to harness the purity of their water source in their Colorado-born spirits. The spring is located in Buckhorn Canyon at 2,000 feet elevation and surrounded by 160,000 acres of National forest. For this flavored vodka, the grain vodka base is infused with Colorado honey lending an attractive golden tone to the spirit.

This concoction starts with Cardinal Spirits grape-derived vodka and adds black raspberries, dried hibiscus, and a touch of agave sugar. Black raspberries are native to North America and a delicious seasonal delicacy.

The multi-step process required for this vodka starts with filling a still with jalapeño, lime peel, and a non-GMO base spirit which passes through a chamber packed with fresh cilantro. The resulting spirit is then separated into parts and individually macerates with even more peppers: Serrano, habanero, red and yellow sweet bell before being carefully blended back together. Then this concoction is lightly-filtered and still maintains a slight green glow.

This cucumber flavored vodka is available beginning late April 2018. Select retailers will have a packet of Tajín chile seasoning affixed to the bottle. Bottled at 37.5% ABV.

Humboldt's Finest is infused with a legal food-grade hemp, without any detectable THC, so it's legal in all 50 states. The distillery's USDA certified organic sugarcane-based vodka is the base. Located in Northern California the Humboldt Distillery has access to one of the freshest water sources around a redwood forest.
