One of the craziest mouth feels I’ve ever experienced. It’s like you put a small warm prune in your mouth. The finish starts slow and gradually rises to a simmer, goes away and then boomerangs back even hotter. Crazy. It’s not my favorite but I’m happy I tried it.

The nose is artificial cherry flavor and Play Dough. Very plastic smelling at first. Very smooth for a 110proofer.

The label and concept got me right away. All I could smell in my glass was the glass and the initial taste felt antiseptic, grassy, and watery. But when I added a few drops of water it became sweeter and noticeable more drinkable.

Peppered corned beef on the nose. Initial taste feels like you accidentally touched your tongue to a car battery. That must be the 140+ proof. But let this sucker sit for 5 minutes or add a drop of limestone water and you have the best bourbon I've ever had.

Black cherry on the nose. Not overly Oaked. Longer finished than Eagle Rare 10. A finish that hums like a hotel mini fridge. It's background noise that is so consistent and low level that it becomes your new baseline for silence. Still...with secondary market pricing give me the $30 Eagle Rare 10 every day.
