Rich on the nose, with a clear mixture of dried red fruits coming through. Not as smooth as the 25 but an ideal after dinner drink with the hints of chocolate

The signature taste of a peated whiskey, full of complexity on the nose. Personally I would open it up with a few drops of water for taste. One of the richest whiskeys' on the market, and notably great performance for price. A must have in anyone's collection

Not the biggest fan, as it delivers quite a bitter taste, the smoke undoubtedly comes through. A last resort whiskey.

A classic bourbon and I can't complain. Vanilla comes through strongly, and it's delicious. No subtly but it does not pretend to be. Not bad over ice, nice casual drink mixed with lemonade.

I wouldn't have this on its own, but it proves to be suitably versatile for whisky cocktails. The sweet, honey and orange taste was great in a whiskey sour

Wonderful aroma, but importantly some nuanced tastes with a fruity hint coming through. It is extremely rich, and a perfect post meal drink.

Lovely aromas and flavours, very unique blend, which does come at a cost.
