I like this stuff. Admittedly I’m new to bourbon, having spent the last 15 years in scotch. But this is simple, not overly complex. Warm without fire. Solid mouthfeel without being oily. Goes down easy, so careful because it might sneak up on you.

Honestly, a gift, my first bottle other than Scotch or Jack or Jim. Very mellow, no fire like scotch, easy. Probably a good daily driver.

Not as crazy about this as traditional Jameson’s. Something slightly different at the beginning. Something significantly different at the end. The end definitely finishes with the cask. The wood or cork is there.

Pretty consistent throughout. Starts with some syrupy fruit. Some spice before it warms up. The later fire is not too much, not too long. Like a 101 on the right tasting notes.
