Tastes

Classic yet savory nose. Apple blossom with a hint of juicy fruit. Bittering finish coats the sides of the tongue. More character than most, but could be a little more balanced.

Saturated wood. Resin. Rum notes but not sweet. Some flavors I can't quite pin down.

Rye dough nose. Mouth coating with a rising rye spice heat. Faint licorice finish.

45% Sweeter wood chips nose. Light but viscous. Sweetness up front with roasty grains closing it out. Easy drinking.

Banana Taffy and red wine. Balanced palate of grains, dough and port. A little welcomed heat.

Banana runts. More rounded nose. Good body with a little bite. Underbaked rolls and oak tannins.

Green banana and orange rind. Palate totally shifts to raw dough and muddled apricot skins. Young notes. Mellow. Sparks of vanilla and warming hard candy finish it off.
