Decent rye, has a good “hug” to it but not overwhelming. Starts with a good caramel then finishes with the grains. Would make a nice old fashioned.

Lots of depth, good rye with notes of caramel and spice. Definitely has a burn, but mostly of the mouth and not going down.

It is a sweet whiskey. Good for people that don’t typically like whiskey…are new to whiskey…etc. Also, it’s good for mixing cocktails where you don’t want to add in a simple syrup or something.

Nice bite but deep flavor. Caramel without the sweetness. No wood flavors though…although that’s what I expected. The thing I noticed the most is that the flavor lasts a long time without changing…which is good.

Not a smoky scotch at all. With the aging it has a sweeter note to it that is very pleasant but not overly strong. I preferred it straight but my wife liked it on the rocks.
