Tastes

It honors it’s name, a tequila produced as it was centuries ago. Cooked in underground pits the smoke flavor is dominant at the nose and at the palate. 100 proof tequila very smooth, with pepper and minty flavors, very different to the regular blanco tequila but it is a great treat. 31.00 dlls per pour at Tzuco restaurant Chicago.

I don’t know how to start with this “tequila”, you drink what you like but I’m sure I will not waste my money on this again; I didn’t taste the agave in this; and to be sincere I felt dumb to buy it. It really tasted like alcohol, piloncillo and a lot of vanilla. I don’t have more to say….

Vanilla, spice, smooth and warm finish, medium long finish, if I can say that. The chardonnay cask comes at the end. Really nice tequila.

Spice, really nice and smooth, great pour, the finish is long, really addictive.The agave is present all the way, I rate it at 4.5 just because I want to see if there is something better.

Very smooth, wood and sweetness and the smoky taste are present. Very good mezcal.

Good mezcal, tasty but not overwhelming and stays in the back. Good for sipping or mix.

Very smooth, I can taste the agave almost right away. Some spice, very nice blanco.
