Definitely green apple on the nose, although the smell was richer than the taste. Somewhat thin and a bit watery, with a youthful flavor. “Full” is not the word I’d use to describe, but subtle and pleasant flavors are there. For the price theres nothing wrong with it. Significantly better than many more expensive and popular Canadian whiskies.

Creamy, vanilla-dry wood with some floral and fruitful richness. Longish tapered mildly spicy finish. Nicely balanced. For $50 this is great, do recommend. Makes one want to see what else Bladnoch has to offer.

Rich vanilla and caramel with a subdued sherry influence, then a velvet glove over a mailed fist of wood tannins and alcohol burn. A little disappointed for the price ($144), but sometimes buying before trying is the only way. Enjoyable, but nothing to really recommend.

Rich without being dessert-like. Tastes a bit like a rubber boot thats been walking in the mud. Long, smoky finish with an underlying sweetness that isnt overpowering. Very well-balanced, considering the higher proof. Really like it, if its appropriate for the mood. The canister is illustrated with notes about the peat and process, which is a bit fun.

Light, vanilla, relatively simple and exceptionally easy to drink. Oaky on the palate, with a nice, sweet and clean finish. This is great, and wasnt even particularly expensive. All around a very good buy, better than some whiskies at twice the price. Not all whisky has to be super complex in order to be enjoyable.

Like drinking a really boozy buttercream cake. Water rakes the richness down a notch, which I was a fan of.

Tastes like drinking a flowered hayfield with one lemon tree in the middle. In a good way. Quite smooth.

The nose is amazing. Everything else is only slightly less. This is excellent.

Vanilla and honey. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Very enjoyable without being overpowering.

Sweet nose, mango like on the box. Woody, oaky palate. Moderately bitter but not unpleasant finish that tapers with some black pepper. I prefer this to some of the lighter and sweeter more expensive scotch.
