The nose comes off with an alcohol bite, although if I hold it just under one side of the nose, I catch some sweetness. In the taste, when it sits, there isn’t much there, but as it moves out, there is a kick of spice. I do need to expand my taste ranch to pull out the other flavors. When in doubt, I usually go with this neat.

I do catch some of the allspice under the nose, but what’s Wild is I don’t get any heat in the nose. No alcohol burn in the smell. Just some spice undertones. On sipping, I don’t catch much long lasting spicy. Only when I let it sit on the lips and tongue do I get the spicy tones. It does have the heat. A heat that lasts.

I do catch a hint of vanilla but more of the citrus under the nose, with no hint of alcohol vapors. At 80 proof I wouldn’t expect much but would expect some. On the sip, the taste does linger with just a touch of warmth after some time. There is something in the taste I can’t place. So will have to update after the bottle is half way gone.

I catch a bit of sweet in the nose with some citrus undertones. The citrus is almost, to me a hint of lime? It does have some heat/spice to the sip and seems to linger on the lips and the back of the tongue. With that, it goes down smooth with just a little heat but it sits well. I can see this as a fireplace sipping drink. The warmth in the drink plus the roar of a fire will make to a nice end of the day.
