I am a sucker for cask strength whiskies. I generally prefer mine prayed, but this is really good. Piercingly pure, intense, balanced.

Unlike any other Islay and unlike earlier Port Charlottes such as the Islay Barley, Scottish Barley, PC7. Charred wood, intensely smoky, fruity, oily, bright, balanced and long. Delicious, seductive.
