Tastes

It smells peaty, meaty, dusty, and has a slight citrus note. The taste had more peat and meat with some sweetness, citrus, and brine. This may be the only bottle I ever see... And that's a damn shame. This might be one of my favorite whiskies.

Nose: peat, brine, dark fruit, cheese Palate: more peat, lots of salt, dark chocolate Finish: lemon square and the bitterness of dark chocolate

Very unusual at first but this is a great fruit heavy bourbon and I love it. Very reminiscent of an old-fashioned (my favorite cocktail) both on the nose and taste. Nose: red apple, cherry, vanilla, orange, pepper, and floral. Taste: chocolate covered cherry, cinnamon, vanilla, and some other spices that I can't put my finger on Finish: buttery and the cherry lingers in a wonderful way. Batch 28

Simple, sweet, and kinda boring. It desperately needs water in order to turn down the sweetness and add summer barrel notes. Not a huge fan.
