Very fruity on the nose. Cherry, creamy nose with a little brown sugar and baking spice underneath, making me yearn for pie. A lot spicier than the nose would have me expect. A little peppery, grainy and oily. Not a long finish.

On the nose, caramel, orange and cream. Very sweet and inviting. On the tongue, tangy, keeping with the orange on the nose. Floral, leafy (maybe tea leaves). A little smoky, but not as woody as I would expect from a 12 year. A little thin on the finish. Generally pleasant, but not my favorite.

On the nose, this one was very simple. Pretty much honey and vanilla, but also a little citrus zest. On the palate, I got a good amount of alcohol burn, but what followed was bubble gum, black pepper and a little leather. Overall the flavors were harmonious and really played well in the long finish. Very enjoyable and would love to see this offering aged up to see what else it would pick up.

Caramel, cherry, cake and vanilla on the nose. Maybe a little licorice. Very fruity and inviting. Given the alcohol content, it doesn’t overpower the nose. On the tongue, a little soft up front, but then mint, banana and bread. A little oakiness but not overpowering. Damn good.

On the nose a carnival of cotton candy and peanuts. A lot of those sweet caramel notes. On the palate, very hot but inviting. Cinnamon, smoke, roasted nuts, oakiness. On the finish, sweet but also peppery Very warm and inviting from start to finish.

Cherry cola on the nose, with a little bit of rice. On the palate, shows up hot. Deep caramel and roasted nut flavors on the end. A little saltiness, almost like salt water taffy.

On the nose spearmint, classic barrel notes. On the palate, cocoa powder, specimens from the rye and later in the glass I got kettle corn. Overall a very pleasing drinking experience and an undeniably great bottle.

On the nose very wheaty with a little bit of sweetness. Maybe a little piney and a little bit of a hay scent. On the palate, starts floral, gets warmth from that right. Finnish was hard to nail down. Reminds me of the consistency I get from a country gravy, but not salty

Lots of oak in the nose, chocolate, vanilla, kind of muted. Taste matches a lot of the nose, with some maple syrup. That char leads to a rich finish. Enjoyable smooth offering not as muted as the standard WR.
