Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 15, 2020 (edited May 28, 2020)Nose: perfumey and light. Fruit salad, mango, papaya, tangerine. Palate: hits a little higher than the proof. Rum finish shows with vanilla extract, honey and passion fruit. Classic speyside barley flavor rounds out all the sweetness to make it well rounded. Finish: short-medium finish. Barley, vanilla and tangerine. Overall: great well rounded daily supper. Will be great out on the porch in the summer. Good value. -

Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 24, 2019 (edited August 28, 2019)This bourbon reminded me of an older Jefferson’s ocean. Nose is heavy on oak. Taste is sweet, has a light vanilla frosting and sprinkle taste. Very prominent charred oak flavors that balance out the sweetness nicely. A tiny bit of barrel bitterness on the finish. Finish is medium-long. Amazing bourbon for the price, will buy again.38.0 USD per Bottle -
Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Rye
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 17, 2019 (edited January 10, 2020)Herbal and grassy with a big amount of rye spice. Sweet but not too sweet, it reminds me of sprinkles but I’m not sure if that’s how to put it. It was good, but left a little to be desired in terms of flavor intensity. A lot of good flavor but it was pretty mild except for the rye spice.38.0 USD per Bottle
