Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Straight Rye
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 26, 2019 (edited July 15, 2019)My favorite rye. Exactly what you want from any classic rye. Classic, fierce rye spice nose with caramel and butterscotch. Taste is the smoothest, most crisp rye you've ever had. Caramel and rye spice up front, with a very long oak finish.70.0 USD per Bottle -
Macallan Fine Oak 21 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed June 26, 2019 (edited September 7, 2021)Best whisky I've ever had. Got to try this with my dad on a special occasion... Very interesting tangerine and dark chocolate taste. Sherry and peat take the background. A lot of flavors going on but they blend very well and aren't fighting with each other.500.0 USD per Bottle -
Booker's Bourbon Batch 2018-04 "Kitchen Table"
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 26, 2019 (edited February 5, 2020)Heavy burnt sugar and oak notes. Tastes like creme brulee thats still on fire with the high proof burn. Alcohol burns but in a pleasant way. Coats your tongue, very oily. Coming back to it a month later there’s some over ripe banana with the burnt sugar. Really awesome70.0 USD per Bottle -
The smell is super sweet, very sugary, smells like an ice cream shop with vanilla and sprinkles. Taste is overpowering sweetness with marshmallow, rainbow sprinkles and rye spice. I really wanted to love this bottle and I do enjoy it. However, I would never pay anywhere close to $80 again for this bottle. If you do like this, try Jefferson's Ocean 17. To me, it tastes like a more mellow bourbon version.80.0 USD per Bottle

Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 17
Bourbon — USA
Reviewed June 26, 2019 (edited September 3, 2019)The nose is soft, vanilla and honey. Taste is strikingly similar to Angels Envy Rye but without the rye spice. Very upfront dessert vanilla and almost marshmallowy sweetness with some corn flavors in the background. Not your typical bourbon at all, but it is fantastic. All the super sweet nonsense of Angel's Envy Rye is taken out, tamed to an enjoyable level and the rye spice is replaced with some bourbon characteristics like corn and honey.60.0 USD per Bottle
