First smell was a charred barrel note, followed by fruiter and sweeter nosings - while never loosing it’s “dark” quality (don’t know how else to put it). It’s hot on the tongue for sure, but still retains a sweetness on the side of the tongue. The next sip brought much more complexity and almost a maple quality. The finish is very alcoholic, and brings back the charred barrel scent of the first nose. A bold bourbon. Be prepared!27.0 USD per BottleWoodman's Food Market

Old Tub Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 24, 2020 (edited August 28, 2020)Old tub punches above it’s class in my opinion. Big vanilla nose - some cinnamon and cherry in there too - followed by a warm and tannin-filled presence on the tongue. The finish is long, oak-y, and mouthwatering. Very complex for the $25 I paid.25.0 USD per BottleBinny's Beverage Depot - Geneva -
Starward Two-Fold Double Grain
Other Whiskey — Victoria , Australia
Reviewed October 30, 2019 (edited May 11, 2020)Gorgeous sweet and fruity nose (with hint of oatmeal?), a slightly bitter yet balanced and woody tongue-note, followed by a vanilla and almost-floral finish. Tastes higher-proof than it is, but that’s not a bad thing. Delicious whiskey. -
Wild Turkey Bourbon 101
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 1, 2019 (edited September 8, 2019)Dang good whiskey for the price. Alluring nose, bold on the tongue, warm but decently stiff finish that lingers on your breath with the same aromas of the nose. Holds up in any bourbon cocktail, and the high rye mash makes it good for manhattans as well. If you need bourbon, might as well Wild Turkey.
